YouTube has some editing software though limited. Assuming your question is about software is editing. I personally do not edit my videos but I pay someone to edit mine. When it comes to editing farming out may well be the best option.

YouTube you can build your own channel or channels and of course Google owns YouTube.

I have a Mac but have been using Animoto. They are similar but both are limited. I noticed Lisa did the narration on your homepage vid. Was that easy? I would like to just do a video and then have a Fiverr voice guy do the narration.

Animoto is super quick but it seemed a bit lacking as far as customization went. It is great to bang out a quick movie for sure.

Yeah give animoto a whirl for sure to get your chops wet. It gives instant gratification and has some cool effects. Although last I checked you need to pay money or else it will say Animoto at the very end, which always bugged me.

If you know you will be wanting to make at least one video a month, I would suggest a professional company like the one we use, iMotion Video. You can join their production club which for around $80 a month includes one 60 second video at no charge with the basic features. Even if you make others yourself, instead of paying for more than just the one you get each month, using footage you already have once a month and turning it into a higher quality video will pay off during the year as you use them. They have limited enrollment each year for new production club members and they just opened back up last month so if you are interested check them out fast before all the slots have been filled.

Where do I get music to use on home made videos. I made a couple last year and had music on iMovie (mac) but cannot find it now and I don't want to use music illegally and wind up in trouble.

Michael you can look for free license music, their are websites with loads of music that is legal to use.

I just found this site with loads of choices, you pay for each track or buy the album. I bought two tracks and downloaded them without a problem. I paid just under $6 for the two. Check it out and see what you think.

Any updates on this topic? It seems to me that Animoto changed their pricing structure, I'm not sure I want to buy in again. Ray are you still using keynote. Ed, what do you use?
