Took some advice I got on here, and invest in some door hangers, with a spot on them for estimates.

What do you guys think?

Yes. You should also have before and afters and a list of services you offer on there too.

 For little money you could have used the back for many things such as pictures. It's too bad you didn't post the hanger before it was printed.

Use the back as a before and after pic.
Maybe hang that side facing out.
Picture is much more attention getting.
Words alone usually don't get read and just end up in trash pile

As some have replied, all with great points, that was why I asked. Also, I cannot tell what you do, from just a glance at the hanger. How many did you print??

I only printed 100. To see how they work. Does anyone have door hangers that I can see an example of?

Personally I think there are better ways to spend your advertising dollars but......Ask before you do. Meaning it's better to ask for opinions before you do something rather than after. At this point we can't help you with the hangers you printed.

So awesome to see you moving forward and trust me, we have all made the same mistakes. This board can help you avoid BIG and little mistakes....but not after the fact....:}

Try Tim Field's Sign2day. Not only does he own this business but he and his family have been in the pressure washing industry for sometime now.. He kind of knows what works. Check out his page to get ideas. There are many others you can find on the facebook forums. All Red Graphics and Ryan Kettering come to mind. See below for more.

Look at samples to see what is available. You don't have to use this guys. Get an idea and see if a local firm can get it done for you.

Use the search on NSWA for "door hangers". You'll see some info that might help.

Hank

I think it needs to say "Cleaning". People don't know what softwash is. They want their "siding pressure washed" and that's about the only language they have. Say stuff like "Make your House look New again..." or "We're fighting Grime" (or maybe not. haha), "increase curb appeal" "protect your investment". I agree about the tag line. I makes you sound cheap or desperate. Think about it from a homeowner's point of view. Do they care about you making a living? or do they care about their house getting clean?

I also wouldn't call yourself an up-and-coming Softwash company. Makes you sound new and you may or may not do a good job. You want to let people know you're here and ready to provide the solution to their problem...a dirty house. I say stuff like "our soft wash method outperforms high-pressure cleaning and won't damage the delicate surfaces on your house."

And photos. Nothing speaks louder than a good before/after photo.
