This is our new project (promo post to follow) we just started. It's a 52,000 square foot warehouse. We are cleaning the interior ceiling decking, purlins, girts and corrugated metal walls. Two machines, three men and plenty of water to supply the two machines with plenty to spare. We tapped into a stand pipe. The guys love working off the scissor lifts. Customer supplied them. We are removing loose dirt, rust and insulation remnants.

We are about 50% complete after 5 days on the job. The customer has issued a change order to do some additional work for him. It's not easy but is extremely profitable. In this industry you have to do more than just roof and house cleaning. This includes warehouses, gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, strip malls and hood cleaning. This is especially true in areas like ours where we only work eight months a year due to our weather conditions.

To be honest I've been overwhelmed with work and business related issues. My lead technician quit, without notice, about two months ago. I didn't replace him and I've been on the truck getting the exercise I need. I've found that I like that better. The phone is blowing up daily and I've turned down work as we are booked through the middle of November.

In addition to this my daughter is now a senior in high school and she is involved in daily after school activities, which I'm proud of her for. College is next year so we are getting ready now.

We just completed 56 carports for a local golf club. Yes just the carports. All spider webs. Nice payday for me and one guy. Two machines running.

Hank what did you use to break down the spider webs? I never had problems but just wondered if any product worked exceptionally well.

Well, the results speak for themselves. Glad to hear you are enjoying being back on the truck. Part of me wants off and the other part just likes the view from the top too much.

I am sure it is "fun" to build a bigger operation, but my past experiences in commercial flooring with more employees did not result in freedom...
