Shop is fine but as I'm painting the floor (battle ship grey) and the walls white. I had moved everything of the walls and to other side of each bay, which of course created the problem of having to winterize everything. Oh well. I should have checked the forecast a little closer.

I woke to 34 yesterday and was surprised because I haven't checked the weather since it has been so nice. Frost on the windows... Now I need to keep checking the weather more so I don't get a big surprise one morning.

Question...
To air or to antifreeze?
I know Art blows out his systems as others and some run antifreeze.
Will blowing out 12v pumps do damage or more chance of damage from antifreeze in pump heads?

Thinking about antifreeze leaving sticky residue on valves or something

In past my system wintered in heated shop, now have a truck mounted system open bed outside.snow piling up etc

I blow out all my pressure washer and garden hoses with air. I run automotive anti freeze through the PW and PW hoses for long term storage. RV anti freeze for just overnight. Nothing in the garden hoses.

We thoroughly rinse out our 12v pump daily and then add windshield wiper fluid to the entire system from drop stick through pump and 200' of roof hose.

Now that I have the shop this will be a whole lot easier.

Luckily we do not have to winterize anymore due to the fact we have a heated shop. It will be nice to finally havr somewhere to work on equipment without freezing my nutz and bolt off.

Have a heated shop, but just keeping paint, ladders ,scaffold, lumber, junk etc... warm.

No room to park a truck with a sws!

Pretty much what Hanks does. Maybe I can find the video we took last year. We blow everything out from one easy location and have the PW's set up to fill with antifreeze by turning two valves. The entire process takes about 15 mins.

We have been in the 70's during the day and 45 at night, although I know it will end abruptly. I don't want to think about winterizing lol
