Unless you can find them locally on Craig's List or FB that is the easiest. If you buy them on line the shipping is usually the killer.

Please add a signature. It helps us and you as well if you put in links to your website or FB.

I have never used Tractor Supply. On my truck there are 3x55 gallon tanks that came from PWS. My buffer tank(50 gallon) for the PW came from a local farmer. On the hot water trailer I have a 275 tote that I found on Craig's list. I also have two 275 gallon totes in the shop for SH and fresh water. Both of these I bought from another contractor(not PW related).

There are plenty of resources for securing tanks. Tractor supply is just one of them.

I bought one 50 gl on Craigs for $40 and the other at a Local Hardware store that Erik B "Dirty Roof" turned me onto. You got to look around. FaceBook has a Buy and Sell also

Haven't really found anything worth purchasing secondhand yet. I run out of 30 and 55 gal plastic drums as of now. I checked a tank place here locally but they were outrageously priced compared to the ones I found at ts.

For the ones of you running 12v pumps how much chem and water do you normally go thru on a 2500sqft vinyl siding home no roof? And with that what size pump are you using?

Most are using the Delavan FatBoy or the 5850. The FB can be adjusted up to 150 psi. When I batch mixed (for 7 years) we could do an average house wash with 35 gals of mix. That could change depending on height, wind, filth. You might use more as you get use to spray techniques. I have no clue how much water since there is so much rinsing. I had to provide water once (never again). I took a full 300 gal tote and returned with about 1/4 tank.

We have not had to furnish water yet for any job. In fact, in our terms and conditions, we state that customer supplies the water.

Just ordered two 65 gal leg style tanks with strap mounts on each end. They can be ordered and shipped to store, if not in stock from Tractor Supply. Looks like they will ride well.
