Art,

When I first started we had our tanks and pumps mounted on a trailer towed by my Chevy Suburban. I sold the trailer as I found it easier to use a pick up. I bought a 1500 Chevy and used that until a kid T-boned us back in August of this year destroying the truck and bending the ladder rack. We are now using another truck(Ford F-250) which I  had already. Burns a lot of gas(5.8L) but this truck has been with me a long time now. It only has 90,000 miles, which is not bad for a 1990. Pictured below.

Hank

Nice Truck Hank.
I work out of a GMC U Haul Bob Truck. Talk about a gas pig, Rebuilt 454 motor. The Truck runs great. I like the box truck because I do a lot of Home Repair. I move tools in and out as the seasons go. Right now I'm back to being a sider and I don't like it. All I want to do is wash house's.

Brian looks real good. Question thought. Do you need a plumbers license to operate that equipment? Just kidding.

Brian your rig looks sweet, I still wanna see it in person.
Mike please post some pics of your new rig once you get it all set up. :)

I like my GMC pickup so I picked the "other" option in the pole. My dodge is good too but not my optimal truck of choice.

I like a Van for a lot of reasons.

1)There cheap and easy to find

2) Vans keep everything covered and out of site

3) Vans don't have to stop at weight stations

4)Vans are a small moving billboard

Zach,
I will be posting pics sometime in feb. I have to mount and plumb my pw to the skid when I get back home. It will just fit with almost zero room. I just have to have a bracket welded to fit the gas tank.

Mike,

J and L ( Joe Bondisky) in hammonton has done some welding on my Softwash Systems Cradle Skid. He is reasonable and does really nice welds with aluminum. AC actually had him do some stuff for him last year and I came out nice. He is on 10th street near my house.

I will get it for you...it's funny, I have never called them, i just stop there because they are so close to me. I am getting the Dodge done this Thursday. I change to the Rhinoliner guy from Woodstown, it's $650.00, $200 less than the guy in Egg Harbor

We will be adding another vehicle soon. We have an F250 utility bed and we're thinking of getting another. I'm looking into vans, the MB Sprinter van in particular. It's pricey but looks professional, especially when it's wrapped. I'm wondering if the fumes being in the cab area are going to be an issue. Maybe Brian and others with vans could chime in and give their thoughts?

Thats a lot of coin in equipment you got there Eric. I hope you and Lisa have employees. Those box vans are closed off from the chems so they wouldn't be a problem for the odors. BTW, You guys have a nice looking brand.

We had a Ford E350 box truck about three years ago. No matter what I did to the wall that separates the cab from the box we still had to deal with odors. With the Isuzu, the totally separate box has been a good move. I'll never have another truck that has the cab attached to the equipment area. If you get the Sprinter see what can be done to completely seal off the cab. The smallest spill or leak will always find it's way into the cab!

Eric

The cab of my van is totally closed off and sprayed with Rhino liner. No fumes or odors at all. I also ventilated the back of the van. I have had this van for the last 4 yrs and j think I paid $6000 for it.

Personally I have had a PU truck, Service truck, Flatbed and now an Isuzu NPR.

By far the best is the Isuzu

DSCF7411.jpg

but not because it's an Isuzu. It's the Hackney body. It fits EVERYTHING and just turn the handle, push a button and she is all locked up. That being said we are building another truck and it is another service truck. The only reason is simply the size. Although the Isuzu is "fairly" small it's still a big truck. The service truck is big as well but......I just can't operate out of a PU......just me.

I don't know what works best, but I wish my short bed pickup was a long bed so I could add a tool box + my 6' skid. Extended cab is nice, but you can't store everything in the cab with you. My next one will be a long bed with extended cab. probably an F250. It will be white. The dark colored truck I have looks terrible after just one season...mostly from hoses scratching the side of the bed.

Anyone who "works for a loving" will say exactly what you said about a short bed. Fortunately, I learned in the 70's to never, ever buy another short bed.

Art and David Hoover have good storage for the extended cab.

Extcab dr.jpg

Slide out drawers on both sides with storage under. Driver side I had a slide out tray for printer. Inverter was attached to side of box. The right side of box the Craftsman plastic tool box with 4 drawers held 1/4, 3/8 & 1/2" drive sockets with one drawer for wrenches fit perfectly.

Extcab pass.jpg

Excuse the mess. I only use this for rebuilding screen porches & decks. And jet skiing
