Cleaned roof today and look what was under neath

I cleaned this roof today with a 3% mix. This tile was covered in mold and had moss as well. Kinda upset about this because I think the paint  should hold longer than 15 years. Doese anyone know how long the coating on a concrete tile last?

Chris,

It's called a slurry coat. It is broken down much easier by algae, mold, mildew, bacteria and moss than color through tiles. This is the reason why we stress to our customers that roof cleaning is not just for looks.

Have they ever had it cleaned before ?? Could have been cleaned with the wrong or too strong of chems... some slurry coats are thin

But as AC says below could also be what caused this.

Neglecting the cleaning process over time will cause such damage !!
