Dayton booster tear down (surprising to see so little corrosion)

Dougie Do posted this video last month. I am surprised to see so little corrosion after two years of continuous use. I think this is further validation that the booster pump can hold up to the sauce due to the apply chems then rinse cycle. This means the pump is always being flushed.

Dougie do also mentioned this pump was mostly used for exterior cleaning (1% sauce). I imagine the corrosion would be much more advanced if the pump was used for roof cleaning (3% or more).

Model: 5NXZ3A

I imagine the A in the model number refers to the seal and wetted materials being made of stainless steel.

I did run 3% and even up to 5% at times but mostly just 1%. Either way we run a ton of water through it after the sauce.
