MEG Nozzles with STABILIZER VANES

Is this the nozzle you are talking about? I have had some in the past but had no clue what the vane was for.

We used them when I worked for a chemical processing plant. They were the type of nozzle we used on the end of the clean out guns for inside the tanks. The internal vane can be pulled out if it does not work the way you want.

They are supposed to help "straighten" out the stream....I usually pull them out.
