Was puttering in the shop today and made this video about temperatures and bleach. I always seems to be a topic of debate (and whether or not AppleWash Stains), so I wanted to experiment with it in a controlled environment while checking temperatures.

Interesting and good demonstration Ray. What is even more interesting is the cooler bleach rose 3 degrees while the warmer rose 6.

Hey Ray,..yes,..I know that also in the real World it does indeed work slower,..it doesn't "Hit a brick wall" like gutter cleaners do,..and it will clean just as effectively in the cold,..just takes longer as you stated. To put in perspective,..I shut down here in Pa due to temps,...Period! Has nothing to do with bleach not working,..so the point is,..it doesn't affect it enough hough a broad range of temperatures for me to change the pattern in which I use it. Maybe jack it up a little on a really bad roof,..but I do that anyhow,.Ha, Ha,.

*Whereas gutter cleaner at 40 degrees is just wasting it,..50 and Sunny is doable though.
