Why clean patios, sidewalks, and decks, but leave the furniture?  Some customers don't think to ask for it because they don't realize their patio furniture can be cleaned as well.  Check out what a difference it makes!

Heck,.If I would charge for all of the free stuff I do for people,..I'd be rich!! Seriously though,...I do it probably more than I should,..sheds,..sidewalks, mailboxes, propane tanks etc,...

Had a good customer who we service his beach house every year.

A few years ago he was gonna trash all his weathered lounge ware and replace it with $30,000 of new furniture.

I told him we will restore it for $5,000.

Well it took myself and a helper 5 hours to PW and restain.

this is how it came out! $1k an hr? he was pleased.

Saved him $25k for another five years prob.

Nice work Maverick! Gotta' love those high rate jobs! Especially when you feel good knowing both parties are happy. That looks like Teak,..I've cleaned that stuff a few times,..always seems to need sealed to bring out the real beauty. I've only ever used Teak Oil on them,.because it seemed the "right" thing to do. What did you use?

Did the decks and walkways which was abt 6,000sq/ft using Messmers UV PLUS specifically made for extremely dense hardwoods.  Used it on the teak furniture as well.

The property is over $15mil so we do abt 3 months a year of maintenance. Price is relative and like you I do a sh1t load of freebies.
They don't want to be bothered by inconveniences when they come out to enjoy the summer weekends.

High end customers are the best, They don't mind pay. But they want good work and no aggravation.

You're right about the aggravation thing Art,..I have several customers who don't even want a price before the work,...and almost like they get "aggravated",.when I try to give them one, Ha, Ha,..I just prefer to give a cost first,..but I have learned by now who's who and what they want.

The customers I find "aggravating" are the lower end customers that nitpick about everything trying to squeeze every penny and want freebie after freebie and call daily saying they're not satisfied with the results even though you tell them wait till the next good rainstorm or killed a Bush that was already dead and you pointed it out before you started!
I find low end customers bitch WAY more. lol

And someone once said:"The customer is always right",...Yea right,..I'd say that old saying originally came right from the mouth of a customer somewhere along the way.
