Washing Car Washes

Hey all you in the washing world i am happy to be here, this is my first post.

I work in Mississauga/Toronto Canada. Pressure washing since 2007. Just now looking into soft wash, our area has more brick homes than siding.

 

My question is regarding car wash cleaning.

Right now I am using a chemical called HD Brick, its is an  acid based chemical. I send a lot of time scrubbing, my arms cannot continue with all the scrubbing.

The walls are vinyl siding and some are a white panel like you would see in a commercial freezer.

My question is has anybody cleaned car washed successfully with Bleach or any other products?

So in Canada we have a lot of drive in automatic car washes, they call me in the wash the floors (easy to do), wash the doors, (easy to do) the challenge is washing the walls, and the automatic car wash machine. The walls are generally white siding or panels stained with dirt, soap and wax.

Not sure why you have to scrub the brick? Pictures would be very helpful. Brick,.old or new is cleaned with a combination of proper detergents, acids, etc,..depending on what you're dealing with.The white panels inside could be handled with a combination of detergents and every once in a while do an acid wash to remove any hard to remove stains from dirt. Washing them more often would be beneficial in ease of cleaning and the degree of detergents you need to use. Only use bleach if there is mold or algae,..otherwise don't bother.

* If these car washes are partially enclosed,..you should really be wearing a respirator if using any detergents or acids that are irritating your nose or throat in the least. Depending on the openness of the washes and how long it takes,..good idea to just wear it.

Thank you Jeff for your response.

You are right about the respirator I always have it on.

Let me get some pictures of what I mean, you are right about cleaning them regularly, this is sometimes the challenge.
